Oversee comprehensive maintenance and capital project programs for the hotel, ensuring guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas remain operational and safe. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical system malfunctions, including HVAC and plumbing, while leading scheduled preventative maintenance assignments. Direct and manage all maintenance staff, handling hiring, training, and performance evaluations to ensure work is performed efficiently. Communicate daily with department heads to address maintenance needs and coordinate project completion from small repairs to major rehabilitation efforts. Maintain proper storage and usage of chemicals and hazardous materials. This full-time role requires on-call availability 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs.
