Job Summary
Directs engineering operations for the property, including budgeting, long-term maintenance planning, and asset protection. Oversees the physical plant (HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing), ensures life-safety systems and regulatory compliance, administers service contracts, and leads energy conservation efforts. Responsible for developing and implementing engineering strategies aligned with the property/brand, managing capital projects, reviewing financial performance (P&L), and guiding the engineering leadership team. Leads the emergency response team for all facility issues and fosters a compliant, safe, and efficient operating environment for guests and associates.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 6 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 4 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area; technical training in HVAC-R/Electrical/Plumbing.
