Director of Engineering

Oversee and optimize property engineering operations for a Marriott property, including managing the engineering budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance programs, energy conservation initiatives, and asset protection. Lead the emergency response team, ensure compliance with all safety, life safety, and regulatory requirements, and supervise engineering leadership to control controllable expenses. Develop and implement operating strategies aligned with the property's business goals, manage long-term maintenance plans (including 10-year asset protection initiatives), coordinate service contracts, and ensure reliable building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection). Drive performance through budget reviews, financial reporting, and effective communication of departmental goals while fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and outstanding guest experience.
