Director of Engineering

Manage the physical plant, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and fire safety, in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements. Lead the emergency response team, oversee construction projects within budget, and administer service contracts to support property needs. Develop and execute long-term preventative maintenance and 10-year asset protection plans while controlling controllable expenses such as heat, light, power, and vendor costs. Review financial reports, prepare P&L critiques, and manage the payroll function to ensure departmental goals align with overall business strategy. Ensure all licenses, permits, and certifications remain current and address employee concerns through an open-door policy.
