Hands-on Director of Engineering leading product development for an AI-native software platform focused on clinical research sites. Reports to the CTPO and collaborates with leadership to shape architecture, roadmap priorities, engineering culture, and team growth. Design, build, and ship production software; recruit and develop a high-performing engineering organization; establish processes to maximize speed, quality, and accountability; drive rapid iteration from idea to production; foster ownership and urgency; collaborate with operators and clinical stakeholders to translate business needs into software. Requires significant experience shipping production software, leading and growing engineering teams, strong software architecture and system design, and enthusiasm for AI-native software development and modern engineering workflows. Prefer shipping to delivering impact with a strong ownership mindset and clear focus on patient outcomes.
