Job Summary
Own the reliability, scale, cost, and security of the infrastructure powering incident.io's AI incident response platform, ensuring business systems remain operational for high-profile clients like OpenAI and Netflix. Partner with Product Development and security teams to shape this new function from scratch, managing multi-agent analysis systems that process sensitive operational data while maintaining strict security postures. Unblock coordination during outages and drive the evolution of Infrastructure, Security, and IT to support rapid scaling. This role requires a systems thinker who can define architecture and communicate its value to executives, operating within a fully remote environment with competitive equity and comprehensive benefits.

- Ability to talk scaling, reliability, and cost
- Security specialization
- Experience building a team or function close to scratch at a company our size
- Experience at a much bigger company
- Ability to stop an adversary before they cause damage
- Comfort owning ambiguity

- Ability to go deep with engineers on architecture
