Director of Engineering

Director of Engineering at Hevo leading the engineering organization to define the long-term technical vision and roadmap, build and scale high-performance teams, and drive architecture and delivery for a large-scale, real-time data platform. Responsibilities include setting technical strategy, guiding architectural decisions across ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and metadata systems, driving modernization and best practices, overseeing end-to-end product delivery, establishing robust processes for planning, reviews, and incident management, partnering with product management, and fostering leadership development. The role emphasizes AI-native engineering, including adoption of AI-enabled tooling, observability and incident triaging improvements, and governance of responsible AI practices, with a focus on delivering scalable data infrastructure used by thousands of large-scale customers. Location is Bangalore, India.Qualification details include 15+ years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
