Job Summary
Director of Engineering in charge of managing the engineering group and coordinating with operations to design radiation shielding solutions. Oversees design development (shielding, diagnostic shop drawings, manufacturing drawings, installation drawings), project scope, budget, and schedule; drives design-standards improvements; manages India operations and staffing; reviews shop, manufacturing, and installation drawings for completeness; maintains third-party consulting relationships; leads quarterly staffing and operations reviews; develops training programs; holds P&L responsibility for the Engineering group; supports pre-sales materials; and performs additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Professional engineering background and/or 5-10 years of operational experience in managing Design & Architecture
- Strong understanding of P&L management
- Comprehensive knowledge of design and engineering disciplines, including but not limited to Structural and Mechanical Design
- Strong fiscal management skills to provide effective direction
- Proficiency in Revit, Inventor, BIM, AutoCAD, Excel, and MS Word
