Director of Engineering for Residences

Manage the physical plant including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and water treatment systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Lead the emergency response team for all facility issues and verify fire crew understanding of procedures, equipment, and alarms. Develop and execute long-term preventative maintenance and 10-year asset protection plans while overseeing capital expenditure projects and service contracts. Monitor controllable expenses such as heat, light, power, and vendor costs to achieve budgeted goals. Supervise construction to ensure timely project completion within budgetary guidelines and verify compliance with state, local, and federal regulations. Review financial reports and prepare P&L critiques to address potential areas of concern proactively.
