Job Summary

Director of Engineering to lead EnerMech's global engineering function within the Energy Solutions portfolio. Drive governance, engineering standards, methodologies, and assurance frameworks across a diverse set of projects and services. Serve as senior technical authority to support project delivery, business development, and strategic growth, while overseeing workforce planning, capability programs, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, commercial, and clients. Lead continuous improvement in engineering performance, delivery efficiency, technical quality, and regulatory compliance; build relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to sustain technical excellence and safe, profitable project execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in complex, project-driven environments
  • Strong understanding of engineering governance, technical assurance, engineering risk management, and regulatory compliance
  • Proven ability to develop engineering standards, delivery methodologies, and technical operating models
  • Experience supporting project execution, business development, tendering, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Strong commercial awareness with ability to balance technical excellence and business performance
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience leading organizational change, capability development, and continuous improvement initiatives within global organisations
  • Chartered Engineer (or equivalent professional accreditation) preferred
