Job Summary
Lead and develop the Engineering team for Akron Brass, overseeing new and existing product design, engineering support for manufacturing, cost and schedule compliance, and product documentation; ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance and quality manual adherence; collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introduction and manufacturing readiness; manage engineering budget and resources; drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of engineering or product development experience
- 3+ years of managerial experience
- Strong skills in GD&T, 3D CAD, FEA
- Experience with CFD
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement practices
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to work cross‐functionally and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
