Director of Engineering, Customer Data Foundation

Director of Engineering for the Customer Data Foundation leads the technical direction and engineering organization responsible for reliable, scalable, and usable customer data across the LEGO Group. You will guide architecture and platform strategy, establish governance and standards, align business and technology needs, develop engineering leaders, and contribute to data pipelines and platform reliability. The role sits within the Account, Membership and Personalization Technology group and focuses on elevating a critical technical domain, improving consistency, and delivering meaningful business value. You’ll work deeply on data architectures, governance, identity management, and event-tracking standards, with a track record of building strong engineering cultures and partnering with marketing teams to enable data-driven personalization and activation. This is a high-impact leadership position requiring deep technical depth in data systems, platforms, and cross-functional collaboration, with opportunities to scale the organization and technology foundations globally.
