Director Of Engineering

Director of Engineering responsible for the management of engineering and facilities services and processes supporting the hotel’s core business. Oversees organization of engineering administration, facilities management, preventive maintenance and repair, coordination with corporate Engineering MHR, spare-parts inventory, safety and fire readiness, and budget planning for investments and replacements. Key deliverables include coordinating purchasing with Finance, maintaining par levels of spare parts, implementing preventive maintenance programs, prioritizing workloads, training programs for the Engineering division, and leading safety training in coordination with Security. Reviews scheduling and leaves to optimize resources for owner/guest satisfaction and employee productivity. Ensures compliance with Mövenpick Operational Standards and MH&R standards, and leads daily engineering briefings and contractor oversight. Proficient use of the DynaWin system; manages invoices and monthly reporting on works, energy/water consumption, and equipment maintenance. Demonstrates strong leadership to drive financial, operational, and service-delivery targets, and plans/delivers staff training and resource allocation for the Engineering team.
