Director of Employee Experience

Director of Employee Experience at Multiverse, leading the end-to-end People lifecycle, core People systems, and the experience of employees and managers. Owns operational excellence, People technology, AI-enabled tooling, and service delivery. Line-manages the People Coordinators, partners with People Partners, Payroll and Finance, and acts as the operational backbone of the People & Talent function. Drives automation and AI integration from onboarding through offboarding, ensures regulatory compliance (including SMCR), maintains documentation and data integrity, and collaborates with Finance, Payroll, and cross-functional stakeholders. Key responsibilities include managing the People inbox/service desk, optimizing processes, owning HiBob and related HRIS/ATS systems, and shaping the AI tooling roadmap to improve efficiency and scale while maintaining governance and compliance. Required experience includes 5+ years in People Operations, strong HRIS experience (HiBob preferred), familiarity with UK employment law, proficiency in Excel/Sheets, and demonstrated coaching/leadership abilities.
