Job Summary
Oversight of academic operations, instructional staff, and curriculum development while ensuring compliance with accreditor and regulatory requirements. Lead faculty recruitment, mentoring, training, and evaluation to foster a student-centered learning environment. Monitor student academic progress, retention, and completion outcomes to coordinate interventions and drive continuous improvement. Manage academic policies, scheduling, classroom utilization, and budget considerations in partnership with campus leadership. Support accreditation readiness, generate data reports, and represent the campus in external academic communities. Flexible with shift hours, including two evenings per week, with additional time as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, post-secondary diploma/certificate equivalent, or higher
- Minimum 3 years of direct or indirect supervisory and/or leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of academic policies, student progress monitoring, and instructional best practices
- Experience supporting accreditation, compliance, or regulatory standards
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), and standard office software
- Must be flexible with shift hours due to position responsibilities, including flexing to evening hours minimum two evenings per week
