Job Summary
Administer the CHHN certification program, the only accredited national credential for LVNs and RNs in home health. Personally facilitate simulation training using high-fidelity pediatric mannequins and real home-based equipment for skills including tracheostomy, ventilator management, and central line care. Build nursing school partnerships to establish clinical rotations and preceptorships with San Diego-area institutions. Guide new graduate nurses toward confident, independent practice in high-acuity home settings. Requires an active Texas RN license, two years of pediatric home health experience, and a BSN. Full-time on-site role in Dallas, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Texas RN license (or compact license with TX eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric home health or private duty nursing
- Proven ability to teach and evaluate clinical skills hands-on
- Strong knowledge of trach, vent, G-tube, and/or central line care
- BSN
Desired Qualifications
- MSN or nursing education background
- Existing Dallas connections to nursing schools or home health agencies
- Bilingual English/Spanish
