Job Summary
Develop and execute MHA's long-term education strategy across the organization while designing innovative professional development opportunities using in-person, virtual, hybrid, and on-demand learning formats. Lead planning and execution of statewide conferences, leadership meetings, and educational events, building relationships with healthcare leaders, speakers, sponsors, and strategic partners. Identify emerging healthcare trends to translate them into relevant programming and grow sponsorship and education-related revenue. Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen member engagement and use data and feedback to continually improve programs and the overall member experience. Manage program and event budgets, supervise staff, and lead cross-functional project teams. Requires five years of experience in education program development and event management, including three years leading large-scale conferences and two years managing budgets and supervision. In-state travel is required approximately five to eight times per year for two to five days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Education, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in education program development and implementation, event management, association management, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field
- Minimum three (3) years planning and leading large-scale conferences, meetings, or educational events from concept through execution
- Minimum two (2) years managing program or event budgets, including sponsorship or partnership revenue
- Minimum two (2) years supervising employees or leading cross-functional project teams
- in-state travel (approximately 5-8 times per year; for 2-5 days), with additional travel as needed in and out of Montana
