Job Summary
Director of Donor Experience leading donor stewardship, communications, events, and engagement programs across donor levels; partner with CEO, Board, and volunteers to design and implement an integrated donor journey including tailored stewardship, recognition, and donor-facing communications; manage a portfolio of events (including travel program and Evergreen Gala), donor gifting, and volunteer engagement; supervise staff, manage budgets and reporting, and align programs with organizational mission; requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of fundraising/development experience, plus strong communication skills and confidentiality. Hybrid role based in Lisle, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years fundraising/development experience
- demonstrated revenue-generating special event experience
- high degree of confidentiality
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- experience working with high-level volunteers and staff leadership
- proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google applications
- experience using database systems (CRM preferred)
