Job Summary
Lead and oversee 24/7 shelter, hotline, outreach, advocacy, and case management services, ensuring delivery is voluntary, survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. Supervise shelter and outreach staff, conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and ensuring completion of required DCF core training and privilege registration. Monitor quality, timeliness, and accuracy of client documentation, oversee record reviews, and ensure compliance with Florida law, DCF certification standards, and funding requirements. Manage the Victim Compensation Relocation Assistance Program, support grant reporting and audits, and escalate safety or security incidents per policy. Represent Quigley House in community collaborations, professional meetings, and referral networks to strengthen survivor services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of four (4) years of direct-service experience in the domestic violence field
- Domestic violence direct-service experience
- Supervisory or management experience in domestic violence, victim services, shelter services, human services, or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of domestic violence dynamics, survivor-centered advocacy, trauma-informed practice, crisis intervention, safety planning, case management, advocacy, and confidentiality
- Successful completion of required DCF domestic violence competency-based core training
- Qualification for and maintenance of domestic violence advocate-victim privilege registration
- Completion and maintenance of all required agency, DCF, contract, grant, emergency management, and annual in-service training
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, conduct quality assurance review, interpret policies and funding requirements, maintain accurate documentation, and manage sensitive client and personnel matters
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, decision-making, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Meeting applicable background screening and employment eligibility requirements
- Maintaining a valid driver's license
- Maintaining reliable transportation
- Flexible availability for local travel and urgent program needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a Florida certified domestic violence center or comparable victim-services program
- Experience with DCF, Office of the Attorney General, VOCA, FVPSA, TANF, or other public victim-service funding, reporting, and monitoring requirements
- Experience supervising residential, crisis, hotline, or advocacy services
