Job Summary
Direct the dining services operation for Compass Community Living communities, shaping strategic food and beverage leadership, ensuring resident and client satisfaction through high-quality cuisine and best-in-class hospitality while achieving financial targets. Responsible for developing and implementing operating strategies aligned with client business goals, maintaining compliance with health regulations, managing safety and sanitation programs, driving resident satisfaction, and leading the on-site leadership team to deliver a premier dining experience. Focus areas include P&L management, budgeting, cost controls, staff development, vendor relations, menu development, and maintaining strong client and resident relationships. The role requires entrepreneurial ownership mindset, strong communication across management levels, and the ability to mentor and coach a diverse team to achieve operating excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
- ServSafe® Certified
- B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience preferred
- Strong supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
- Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills

- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable

- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, e-mail, and Internet
- Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, client, customer, and associate levels
