Job Summary
Conduct routine nutritional screenings, calculate nutritive intake, and implement physician diet orders while ensuring adherence to government regulations. Supervise food preparation, delivery, and storage of modified consistency and therapeutic diets, maintaining a sanitary environment and managing chemical storage. Develop work schedules, lead departmental meetings, and interview, hire, and evaluate dietary staff. Manage the departmental budget and operate within approved financial parameters. Full-time position with occasional weekends; exposure to extreme temperatures and frequent noise levels. Requires Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian (RD)
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
- Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP)
- Current ServSafe certification
- Strong background in country club or 5-star dining settings
- Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare-related experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of management/supervisory experience
- Required vision abilities: close vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and color vision
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, talking, and hearing
- Occasional lifting/moving of up to 50 pounds
