Director of Dietary

Provide visionary leadership of the dietary department, including hiring, training, and supervising dietary staff; develop nutritious menus that meet residents' nutritional needs while adhering to budgets and regulatory requirements; oversee food preparation, sanitation, and safety; coordinate with healthcare teams to create individualized dietary plans; ensure compliance with federal/state/local dietary regulations; manage department budgets, procurement, and labor costs; implement quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and dietitians to integrate dietary services into overall care; foster exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction; provide ongoing training and professional development for staff.
