Job Summary
Director of Development at Madison Country Day School leads a comprehensive fundraising program to drive annual, major donor, and capital campaigns, overseeing budgets and a development team. The role partners with the Head of School and Board of Trustees to cultivate a vibrant culture of philanthropy across local and global communities, focusing on major gift solicitation, donor stewardship, endowment, planned giving, and signature events, while collaborating with the Enrollment & Marketing Office to raise school visibility and philanthropic reputation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- 5+ years fundraising and development experience (non-profit sector preferred)
- Independent school experience and/or educational foundation preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
