Job Summary
Lead planning, coordination, and execution of new construction and renovation projects, overseeing all stages from initiation through closeout. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while conducting site evaluations, feasibility studies, and due diligence for potential development opportunities. Provide oversight of project budgets, secure financing, and ensure compliance with HUD, Rural Development, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit guidelines. Build relationships with contractors and vendors, identify risks to timelines and quality, and report progress to senior leadership. Engage with local stakeholders and community organizations to align developments with resident needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in real estate development, project management, or construction management
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong understanding of project management principles, financial modeling, and budgeting
- Ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore)
- Knowledge of zoning, building codes, and construction regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address project issues in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Familiarity with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects and financing
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
