Job Summary
Director of Development to lead fundraising strategy for Discovery World, overseeing a multi-channel program including individual giving, major gifts, annual campaigns, corporate sponsorships, and grants. Key duties include partnering with the CEO and executive leadership, aligning development goals with organizational strategy, coaching the development team, managing CRM operations, donor segmentation, reporting, and stewardship, and leading high-profile fundraising events such as the EXPLORE Gala. Requires 7+ years in nonprofit development and a bachelor’s degree; in-person role based in Milwaukee, WI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field is required
- A minimum of 7 years in nonprofit development with demonstrated success in building and managing comprehensive fundraising strategies
- CRM Experience required, experience with Blackbaud/Altru Platform (preferred)
- Experience cultivating major gifts and leading cross-functional fundraising initiatives
