Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of approximately 150 active donors and 40 corporate prospects while creating and executing strategies for the Annual Appeal, including spring and fall solicitations. Educate residents and supporters about Legacy giving opportunities and assist the Executive Director in cultivating donors capable of leadership and transformational gifts. Oversee the annual golf outing, donor appreciation events, and timely donor acknowledgement and recognition. This full-time role (32 hours/week, $34–$37.50/hour) includes occasional weekend Manager-on-Duty rotation. At The Briarwood Community, you will help secure philanthropic support that sustains programs serving residents with dignity and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree
- 3-5 years of progressive fundraising experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with donors, Board members, and community partners
- Typical schedule is within Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend Manager-on-Duty rotation, with flexibility based on organizational needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Sage 50/Abila or equivalent development software is a plus
- Previous nonprofit fundraising or development experience preferred
