Job Summary
Define long-term software engineering strategy and lead architectural decisions for enterprise applications, databases, and API-driven services. Establish coding standards, drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, and balance business delivery with platform modernization. Oversee the design, development, testing, and maintenance of systems while managing Agile roadmaps, sprint planning, and CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps. Implement governance for peer reviews, release management, and incident monitoring, and develop an enterprise strategy for AI-assisted development including agentic AI platforms and responsible code generation workflows. Recruit, mentor, and retain a team of ten technical professionals while partnering with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
- 10+ years of enterprise software development experience
- 3+ years leading software engineering teams
- Experience managing technical managers and cross-functional engineering organizations
- Demonstrated experience designing enterprise software architectures
- Strong understanding of Agile software delivery methodologies
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
