Job Summary
Manage all Destination Management operations for the East Coast, guiding a team of 2-3 direct reports and 10-20 indirect reports through customer resolution, conflict mediation, and crisis management. Provide vision for long-range planning to ensure company continuity while developing business strategies and identifying market challenges impacting customers. Foster an accountable environment by training new employees, facilitating decision-making, and implementing process improvements within the intermodal supply chain network.
Required Qualifications
- college degree
- at least 5 years experience in business management
- Minimum of 5 years experience in intermodal supply chain
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other computer software
- ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well, and accept feedback from others
- ability to involve staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating, and process improvement
