Job Summary
Lead business transformation initiatives by leveraging data as a strategic asset and defining the data governance strategy to ensure data quality. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into solutions, while driving innovation in data operations. Manage the budget for data governance, invest in team professional growth, and ensure the highest levels of data security and privacy are maintained. Provide regular reports to senior management on data governance, performance, and progress of business transformation initiatives. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align data initiatives with overall business objectives and foster collaboration across IT, business analysts, and executives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management, or Business)
- Extensive experience in data operations and data management with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role
- Must consent to and pass an extended Background Investigation, which includes (subject to country law), extended education, SEC sanctions, and additional criminal and civil checks
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Prior experience in Data Transformation
- Exceptional understanding of data governance principles and best practices
- Proven expertise in data quality tools and methodologies
- Deep knowledge of data management software and tools (e.g., data warehouses, ETL tools, data modeling tools)
- Ability to develop, define, and execute operational processes
- Advanced understanding of data security and privacy best practices
