Job Summary
The Director of Data Engineering will oversee the development and optimization of the company's data architecture and infrastructure, focusing on enhancing AI and analytics capabilities. Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or related technical leadership roles
- Proven experience building and scaling enterprise data platforms and pipelines using Databricks, Spark, or similar technologies
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data governance frameworks
- Strong background in Python, SQL, and cloud data services (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing technical teams and manage large-scale projects
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with executives and non-technical stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- AI/ML experience or exposure to data science environments
