Job Summary
Director of Data and Analytics to oversee research analyses for HAALSA, supervise data management processes, including quality assurance, and the preparation and public release of datasets. Plays a key role in study design and analytic strategy, contributes to manuscript development, and provides hands-on support for analytic work. Responsible for directing analytic datasets, coordinating cross-team analytic workflows, advising on statistical methods for longitudinal analyses, and ensuring data integrity and timely dissemination of findings across the US and South Africa.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely-related field
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience with statistical software (such as SAS, R, Stata)
- Experience with NIH studies
- IRB protocol preparation/compliance
- Experience with US Health and Retirement Survey or sister study (with longitudinal data)
- Experience developing survey instruments and working with computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) systems
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with statistical software such as Stata, SAS, and/or R
- Record of scholarly publications and research dissemination
