Job Summary
Director of Data Analytics - lead the analytics engineering function, design scalable data models and ELT pipelines powering financial, operational, and property-level reporting; establish a modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Sigma) and governance practices; collaborate with Finance, IT, Leasing, Operations, and executives to define and operationalize KPIs (e.g., NOI, FFO, occupancy); own end-to-end data products from requirements through deployment and rollout; support ERP and Argus migrations and ensure trusted, well-documented data delivered to business users.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or closely related roles
- Advanced SQL, Python, and command line skills
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse
- Experience with dbt or equivalent transformation workflow
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience designing dimensional/star-schema data models and data marts
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with non-technical leaders
- Exposure to financial reporting in a public company, REIT, real estate, or asset-intensive business (preferred)
