Job Summary
Manage the security operations center, orchestrating incident response, vulnerability management, and technology risk programs while overseeing endpoint protection, email security, and cloud services. Lead technical information security systems management including firewall administration and data loss prevention, responding to high-severity alerts off-hours and escalated help desk tickets. Provide subject matter expertise to technologists, business associates, and executives, driving continuous improvement across the security stack and leading information security projects. Develop and maintain relationships with managed security service providers, contribute to policy and awareness program development, and participate in disaster recovery planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of professional information security or cybersecurity experience
- Experience and interest in financial services
- Minimum one year's experience managing delivery of cybersecurity services in an enterprise environment
- Minimum two years' professional experience in financial services or business consulting industry
- Interest in financial services industry and demonstrable passion for technology
- Firewall administration / management experience
- Cyber incident management experience
- Project management experience with the ability to successfully complete projects on time and within budget
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Technical or professional certifications
- Advanced degree in Information Security or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft technologies including Defender, Entra, Intune, Sentinel, and Azure
