Job Summary
Direct the construction division for residential and commercial reconstruction within a 60-mile radius of Virginia Beach, overseeing Project Managers from intake through final delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality execution. Lead planning, coordination of all construction phases, identify bottlenecks, drive process improvements, and maintain proactive client communication to ensure high satisfaction. Requires 5+ years leading teams in high-volume, fast-paced construction with subcontractor management and multi-phase project execution; background in hospital, high-production residential, or commercial construction is acceptable. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing both construction projects and personnel
- Demonstrated success leading teams in high-volume, fast-paced construction environments
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor management, and multi-phase project execution
- Skilled in project management, estimating, scheduling, and problem-solving
- Background in hospital, high-production residential, or commercial construction is acceptable
- Clear and effective communicator who leads with accountability and empathy
- Ability to foster team coordination and support career development of others
- Committed to building a high-performing, value-driven culture
- Financial Management/Budgeting experience
