Job Summary
Director of Construction Operations leading large multi-family projects in the New England region. Drive end-to-end oversight from planning and budgeting to delivery, managing multiple projects to ensure on-time, on-budget completion with high quality. Lead and mentor project managers, superintendents, and field teams, coordinating with cross-functional leaders to align projects with strategic business goals. Develop and execute business plans to grow multi-family developments, monitor project financial performance, and implement cost-control measures. Lead client-facing proposals, contract negotiations, and market expansion efforts. Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of projects, ensure contractual obligations are fully executed, and provide senior management with performance updates. Recruit and strategically hire to strengthen the construction team. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10+ years of construction management experience on large multi-family projects in New England, and strong leadership and communication skills. Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office; DocuSign, Titanium, Bluebeam, and Procore are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience
- Substantial focus on large-scale, multi-family projects in New England
- Proven track record in business development and management of complex multi-family construction projects
- Deep understanding of construction processes, market dynamics, and growth strategies in multi-family construction
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to align operational efficiency with business development
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with DocuSign, Titanium, Bluebeam, and Procore preferred
