Job Summary
Data Center Construction Project Director responsible for overseeing multiple data-center construction projects, leading project managers and superintendents, managing budgets from $5M to $500M, coordinating contractors/vendors, ensuring on-time delivery and conformance to design standards, and driving value engineering while maintaining strong client relationships. Requires solid project-management experience in data-center environments, ability to manage complex schedules and change orders, and excellent communication and admin skills. PMP is a plus; military veteran experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor / GC / Trade
- Minimum 8-15+ years relevant experience in the Data Center Construction Industry data center / critical facilities MEP construction experience
- Client Facing /Client relationship / Client Management skills
- PMP Certification a plus
- Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects
- Solid Construction Project Management experience
- Excellent communication skills (emails, phone, in person)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong admin skills (MS Office, MS Project, etc.)
- Experience with Military / Veterans experience is a huge plus (Navy nukes, etc.)
