Job Summary

Director of Cost Management to lead and develop the Seattle-based cost management team, oversee delivery across major construction programs (data centers, life sciences, commercial real estate), drive commercial strategy, manage client relationships, lead research and thought leadership on construction market conditions, ensure ISO/SOX compliance, and mentor staff while expanding the regional footprint. Strong emphasis on leadership, business development, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with finance and procurement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
  • Graduate degree or professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) preferred
  • 12+ years of cost management or quantity surveying experience
  • 2+ years of managing high-performing teams in a consulting environment
  • Proven track record delivering end-to-end cost management services across major programs
  • Strong experience in capital projects within sectors such as data centers, life sciences, commercial real estate, or similar facilities
  • Demonstrated success in business development and growing client relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen, financial management capability, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • On-site presence and requirements may change depending on client needs
