Job Summary
Lead planning, development, analysis, construction, remodeling, and maintenance for Beck's growing network of convenience stores and car washes. Research and make recommendations for general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and vendors while proactively managing schedules, budgets, materials, and project quality. Visit project sites regularly to monitor progress, resolve challenges, and ensure work meets high standards. Oversee the facilities maintenance program, supervise the Maintenance Manager, and prioritize maintenance projects and daily work orders. Build and manage relationships with qualified contractors and vendors, selecting partners accountable for costs, quality, timelines, and performance. Collect bids, develop project budgets, analyze costs, and identify efficiency opportunities. Support long-term growth by improving construction processes and reducing reliance on outside general contractors. As a 100% employee-owned company, you share in success through the ESOP. Required Qualifications
- Experience managing commercial construction, remodeling, or facilities projects
- Proven ability to work effectively with contractors, vendors, architects, and multiple trades
- Skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities while maintaining Beck's high standards
- Comfortable reading construction plans and managing project budgets
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- A leader who enjoys improving processes and finding practical solutions
- Sound judgment when balancing quality, timelines, and budgets
- Committed to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Comfortable balancing long-term planning with day-to-day project execution
- Willing to travel regularly to Beck's locations and construction sites
