Job Summary
Director of Compliance for a FQHC, responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the Corporate Compliance Program and annual Compliance Work Plan in alignment with HRSA, FTCA, JCAHO, and HHS OIG guidelines. Develop policies to ensure regulatory compliance and operational integrity; coordinate internal audits and oversee external audit preparations; ensure compliance with federal and Missouri regulations (HRSA/330, HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, 340B, OSHA); may serve as Privacy and/or Security Officer; investigate and respond to compliance concerns and incidents; lead the Compliance Committee and collaborate with Quality, Revenue Cycle, Pharmacy, and Health Information Management to reduce risk; monitor regulatory changes and update policies. Requirements include a Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in a relevant field, CHC or eligible, minimum 5 years of healthcare compliance experience, and strong knowledge of HRSA, HIPAA, 340B, FTCA, and CMS regulations; excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance or regulatory affairs
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or eligible within 1 year of hire
- Strong knowledge of HRSA, HIPAA, 340B, FTCA, and CMS regulations
- Experience conducting audits and investigations
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
- Experience in a FQHC or community health setting (preferred)
- Master’s degree preferred
