Job Summary
Conduct oversight for division compliance with FDA and DOT regulations, including coordinating with regional safety directors and field personnel. Administer required FDA licensing and registration for federal medical, food, and device requirements, while managing state-level obligations. Lead calibration FDA audits and review completed audits to drive corrective actions. Compile monthly reports on audit status, 483 activities, roadside inspections, and DOT site audits, maintaining violation tracking spreadsheets and accident registers. Represent the division on SAFECOR leadership committees and champion regulatory responses to state inquiries and customer complaints. Ensure consistency across regional facilities through training, procedural revisions, and annual DOT compliance audits.
Required Qualifications
- Significant FDA and/or industry operational experience with focus on rules and regulations regarding the production and distribution of regulated products
- Subject matter expert/strong aptitude to obtain the knowledge of FDA gases and the handling, storage and distribution of such across the division
- Significant DOT and/or industry operational experience with focus on rules and regulations regarding DOT activity
- Experience with multi-site, hands-on operational oversight, specifically with implementing policies and training field personnel
- Demonstrates the ability to work, influence and coach in a matrixed organization to meet the needs of the local, regional and division managers and drive continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to travel ~50% of the time throughout division
