Job Summary
Director of Compliance Operations to lead and scale our KYC and Monitoring teams, own KYB onboarding and ongoing transaction/card monitoring end-to-end, build and monitor KPIs/SLAs, forecast capacity, and drive automation and AI to reduce manual work. Lead the selection and performance of third-party vendors, ensure audit- and regulator-ready controls, and partner with Compliance, Risk, Product, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams to align operational delivery with regulatory obligations and business goals. Build scalable operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions, balancing speed, quality, and customer experience, while turning compliance into a competitive advantage through faster onboarding, smarter monitoring, lower cost-per-case, and improved customer outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and scaling operational teams in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- strong track record of driving teams to target
- A relentless focus on process optimization and automation
- Technically minded with understanding of AI and automation
- Hands-on with data, querying, dashboards
- Experience owning third-party vendors and tooling
- Experience operating in audit- and regulator-ready environments
- Excellent people manager with coaching skills
- Customer-first mindset
- Solid working understanding of KYB processes for corporate customers and transaction/card monitoring
