Director of Compliance

Director of Compliance to support Braviant’s consumer lending operations, reporting to the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer and based in the Dallas area. You will provide hands-on guidance to business partners and senior leadership to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory obligations, translate evolving financial laws into actionable requirements, implement and oversee controls across critical processes, lead cross-functional initiatives, advise on new products and operational features, conduct risk assessments and monitoring, manage vendor due diligence and third-party risk, oversee regulatory inquiries and complaint responses, develop and implement the compliance strategy and roadmap, and lead a team of compliance professionals while maintaining strong relationships with regulators and executives. BA required; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CRCM, ACAMS) preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and Excel skills are essential, with a proactive, hands-on approach suitable for a fast-paced startup environment.
