Job Summary
Develop and coordinate daily community life programs, including evening and weekend activities, to meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of residents. Manage equipment and supplies, ensuring organized storage and accessibility. Establish conduct standards, attend orientation and training sessions, and communicate effectively with tenants, families, and volunteers to foster community support. Participate in care conferences, QAPI meetings, and department head meetings to maintain compliance and improve quality of life. Train and mentor staff while acting as a role model for compassionate care. Work full-time Monday through Friday with a MOD weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be compassionate and have a desire to make a difference in the lives of the tenants
- Ability to train and motivate others while acting as a role model and mentor
- Professional experience in health care of at least 2 years
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
