Job Summary
Director of Commercial Finance: serves as a finance business partner to Retail, Wholesale, Digital, and Store Development teams; leads annual budget and long-range planning for commercial P&L, OpEx and CapEx; develops robust financial models for scenario analysis and expansion; manages monthly/quarterly forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting; delivers senior-leadership reporting on topline performance and KPI dashboards; drives forecast accuracy and finance transformation; collaborates on new business initiatives, channel launches, and wholesale partnerships; supports CapEx planning for the retail fleet and site-level performance tracking; requires 8+ years finance experience, Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics, and proficiency with FP&A platforms and advanced Excel modeling; preferred experience in DTC, fashion, apparel, or consumer goods, familiarity with retail real estate economics and 4-wall P&L modeling; MBA preferred but not required
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Proficiency with FP&A platforms (Planful, Anaplan, or equivalent) and advanced Excel modeling
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, multi-channel P&L management, and retail or consumer business economics
- Proven track record as a strategic finance business partner to commercial or go-to-market functions
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences
