Job Summary
Director of Admissions to staff, train, and manage a campus Admissions Team responsible for the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants. Responsibilities include compliance with federal/state laws and accreditor standards, recruiting and developing admissions professionals, managing lead distribution and team activities to meet admissions objectives, conducting second interviews, motivating the team to uphold ethical standards, overseeing the student enrollment process (inquiries, phone screens, interviews), budgeting for the department, and leveraging prior sales/customer service experience to drive enrollment outcomes. Requires a thorough understanding of the education admissions process, strong leadership to motivate and manage a team, and excellent communication skills to resolve issues and foster student success. Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience
- An additional 2 years of experience as an Associate Director of Admissions or Director of Admissions
- Thorough understanding of the education admissions process
- The ability to motivate, build and successfully manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution
