Job Summary
The Director of Clinical Services & Quality Assurance is a newly created senior leadership role at BrightPath in New Hope, MN, serving as the organization’s senior clinical authority under Minn. Stat. § 245D. You will establish and oversee the clinical framework and QA infrastructure, ensure services are evidence-based and compliant with Minnesota DHS and 245D standards, and supervise the Quality Assurance and Training team. Key duties include leading clinical oversight of positive support services, guiding FBAs and PSTPs, ensuring proper authorization of restrictive interventions, developing and maintaining 245D documentation stacks, coordinating admissions and transition planning, leading QA/compliance activities, and designing/trainings for staff. The role requires strong clinical leadership, regulatory acumen, and collaboration with operational leaders to align practice with organizational goals, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field required
- Master's degree strongly preferred
- Active Minnesota licensure or certification in LP, LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, BCBA, LGSW or LSW on track to LICSW or equivalent credential
- Positive Support Professional qualification strongly preferred or eligible
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in 245D, HCBS, behavioral health, or human services setting
- Experience developing/reviewing/overseeing 245D documentation stack (FBAs, PSTPs, BSPs, CSP/SP-As, IAPPs, SMAs, ITPs, risk assessments, MnCHOICES, and clinical/mental health assessments)
- Experience with audits, compliance systems, corrective action planning, and quality assurance processes
- Knowledge of Minnesota DHS licensing, HCBS waiver frameworks, and/or § 245D Positive Support Services requirements
- Experience developing and delivering training programs for clinical or direct support staff
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and willingness to travel to program sites
- Hybrid schedule requirement: in-office Tue–Thu, remote Mon & Fri
