Job Summary
Direct and coordinate clinical departments and branches, assuming responsibility for the continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered in compliance with State and federal regulations. Supervise subordinates to ensure quality compliance with the Plan of Care, monitor the QAPI Program, and identify problem areas for the Administrator. Participate in professional services activities, including qualification development and agency personnel assignment, while promoting infection control and universal precautions. Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family, and referring agencies, and facilitate effective communication to achieve desirable outcomes. Requires a registered nurse licensed in Texas with 4 years of home health experience and 2 years in a leadership role.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse (RN) licensed in Texas or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role. (DCS, Clinical Supervisor, AdoN, etc)
- 4 years of experience in Home Health
- HomeCare HomeBase experience.
- Good communication skills, assessment skills, and strong clinical documentation skills.
- Demonstrates proven decision-making skills.
- Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid and current auto liability insurance.
