Job Summary
Director of Clinical Operations responsible for supervising patient care activities to ensure compliance with nursing and medical standards, verifying licensure/certification, implementing hospice policies, supervising employee health, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting investigations, orienting/train staff, participating in on-call rotation, evaluating performance, and promoting continuing education to support safe, quality hospice services.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in Louisiana
- 3+ years experience as registered nurse, including direct patient care in hospice/home health/oncology
- ability to maintain licensure and continue education in end-of-life care
- no concurrent employment with another licensed healthcare agency
- capable of emergency care and maintaining professional appearance
- pre-employment and annual TB screening
