Director of Clinical Operations (Registered Dietitian)

Job Summary
Direct clinical operations for long-term and post-acute care facilities across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, managing a regional scalable staffing business and overseeing Registered Dietitians. Assign work schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and implement retention strategies through group communications and periodic team meetings. Monitor and approve budgetary expenses for labor hours, contract services, supplies, and travel while tracking revenue targets for internal dining and external contract services. Ensure full compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and quality monitoring measurements, utilizing the Mealtracker system to manage clinical requirements and menu operations. Collaborate with HR, sales, and marketing teams to support new revenue opportunities and participate in quarterly business reviews with clients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited college or university
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed in Dietetics by the state, as applicable
- 3-5 years of dietary experience in long term care with managerial clinical and food services responsibilities
- Combination of Management and Clinical experience
- Self-starter, capable of leading, directing, and supporting a team in a diverse environment with highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
- Stay abreast of regulations affecting the industry and identify issues and implement necessary changes
- P&L and budgetary management
- Submit to a Motor Vehicle Check and maintain a valid driver's license
- COVID-19 vaccine where required in accordance with State law and/or location preference
- Able to lift/carry a maximum of 10 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 10 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time
- Able to deal with the stress of multiple tasks
- Able to see, taste and smell
- Able to work around food and cleaning products
- Must live in service area. No relocation costs
