Job Summary
Establish and maintain robust clinical competencies for all licensed nurses through monthly training calls and system-driven educational topics on pressure ulcers, antipsychotic reduction, and regulatory updates. Develop and implement core clinical systems and guidelines, including standards for seating, positioning, consistent assignments, and transitions of care, while establishing metrics to measure adherence. Define standards for dementia care protocols and provide support to Social Services regarding event management, grievance response, and advance directives. Provide expert guidance on infection control protocols and assist in revising company clinical standards based on industry best practices. Lead clinical operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities in Kansas to drive consistent application of best practices and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in the Long-Term Care & Rehab industry
- Proven experience as a Director of Nursing in Long-Term Care
- Demonstrated experience managing clinical operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities
